Seeking Collections Volunteers

The Ridgefield Historical Society is seeking collections volunteers to become an integral part of our mission to preserve and share the fascinating history of our town.

HANDS-ON HISTORY

Interested in Ridgefield’s history? Would you enjoy working with archivists to record the materials that are continually being added to the Ridgefield Historical Society’s collection? These documents, photographs, and other items are carefully assessed and cataloged and then entered into the Past Perfect system, which makes them searchable on our website.

Collections Manager Betsy Reid needs volunteers who have good keyboarding skills and enjoy precise work and are interested in giving a few hours each week to this important work.

For information, call 203-438-5821 or email [email protected].
