Another Lovely Sunday at the Schoolhouse

The Peter Parley Schoolhouse enjoyed a steady stream of visitors on Sunday, September 25 as we opened our doors — and paid homage to star pupil, Cyrus Northrop.

The Ridgefield Historical Society welcomed a steady stream of guests to the Peter Parley Schoolhouse this past Sunday as we opened our doors and took a few hours to celebrate star student, Cyrus Northrop, who began his education here and went on to greatness well beyond our doors. Visitors arrived on foot and by car, planned and impromptu, and all were treated to a brief respite from the here and now; a good taste of Ridgefield History; and tasty treats courtesy of the National Charity League, Ridgefield Chapter.

Thank you to all those who visited. A small gallery is below. Coming up next: Halloween Eve on October 30, 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Wear your costumes and stay to hear a ghost story or two!
