The Ridgefield Graveyard Restoration Committee, which is an official town committee will be hosting a graveside “sit in” on June 14 at the Branchville Cemetery on Florida Hill Rd. (just off route102 near route 7). All records of those buried at this cemetery have been lost! In an attempt to identify those who are interred there or hold a deed for future burials, the Ridgefield Graveyard Restoration Committee will be onsite for this gravside “sit in”. The Ridgefield Historical Society houses records for the committee in our vault located at our headquarters at the Scott House.
