Ridgefield CT Commemorates America at 250 Presents: Party in the Park!
Join the Ridgefield Historical Society on July 4, 2026 from 11am-2pm in Ballard Park for an unforgettable celebration of our nation’s 250th anniversary.
Spend the afternoon with lively contra (folk) dancing, toe-tapping live music by Bourbon and Britches, and a wide range of family-friendly entertainment. Enjoy face painting, a balloon artist, a magician, glitter tattoos, a stilt walker, interactive activity stations and more. There is something for all ages. The afternoon will also include the opportunity to reflect on the enduring words of the Declaration of Independence presented by the Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center.
