Lecture: Anne S. Richardson, Part Two – Richardson Estate and Gardens

Terry McManus gives part two of a two-part presentation about Anne S. Richardson and Anne's Ridgefield estate and gardens.

Terry McManus discusses Anne Richardson’s Mamanasco Farm, which consisted of 110 acres in total. Richardson Park is the 29.5-acre piece of Mamanasco Farm that Miss Richardson left to the town for a park upon her death. Ninety percent of the photographs, video, and other materials used in this presentation are from Ridgefield Garden Club archives (housed at the Ridgefield Historical Society).

These presentations are a wonderful complement to Darla Shaw’s Auditorium Ladies series of podcasts, including one in which Darla portrayed Anne Richardson. Click here to view Darla’s program.
