The Ridgefield Historical Society is pleased to announce it is a 2019 grant recipient of the Wadsworth Russell Lewis Trust Fund in the amount of $1,500, and the Ridgefield Thrift Shop in the amount of $7,000.

Lewis Trust funding will support the Society’s 2019 roster of historic exhibits at various venues around town. Ridgefield Thrift Shop funding will support two projects: one capital, and the other programmatic. Since most of the Historical Society’s program content is directly sourced from its state-of-the-art archives, part of the grant will support temperature and humidity control in the vault. The remainder will fund the development of the Society’s programs and exhibits mined from this repository.

The Society relies on contributions from individuals, foundations, businesses, and corporations to fund its operations and services.
We are so grateful to both funders for their continued support.
