This month, Bill Duncan of the 5th Connecticut Regiment will give a living history presentation covering all aspects of the life of a Continental soldier, including uniforms, weapons, and personal accoutrements. There will be numerous items on display, so come and find out what a ‘caltrop’ is and learn where the saying ‘lock, stock, and barrel’ comes from during three, half-hour presentations at 1:15 pm, 2:15 pm, and 3:15 pm.
The schoolhouse is open from 1 pm to 4 pm the last Sunday of each month, from May through October. Click here for directions. Each month will feature a new special program, and an ice cream truck will be available on site.
