Founded in 1804, the New-York Historical Society is one of America’s pre-eminent cultural institutions and the oldest museum in New York City. Located across from Central Park in the heart of the  Upper West Side, the New- York Historical Society is a beautiful landmark building with an unparalleled collection of artwork and artifacts showcasing America’s history through the unique lens of New York and deeply engaging exhibitions that reveal the impact of history on our lives today.
Join us on a tour of the museum led by specially trained guides. We will learn about New York’s role in the American Revolution and its early days as a Dutch colony up until the thriving metropolis it is today. We will see all the highlights of this incredible collection.
The bus will leave St. Mary’s school parking lot at 8:30 a.m. and depart NYC at 4:00 p.m.
Ticket cost for the bus and admission to the museum is $40 for members and $45 for non-members. Lunch will be on your own either in the museum cafe or at a nearby restaurant.
For the more adventurous, The Hayden Planetarium Space Theater, approximately .2 miles along Central Park, is offering a space show titled Dark Universe every half hour starting at 10:30 a.m.
