DESCRIPTION:Witness Stones Remembrance Ceremony\n\n\n\nThe annual Witness Stones Program\, Bearing Witness: A Gathering of Remembrance\, will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday\, November 19\, 2026\, continuing a five-year partnership that gives Ridgefield eighth-grade students the opportunity to uncover and honor the lives of people who were enslaved in the community. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStudents have previously researched the lives of enslaved residents of the Historical Society’s Scott House: Quash\, Lidia\, Peter\, Dinah\, and Ann.
