Sign up now to have you and your loved ones captured in silhouette! Done in the traditional style by eye and freehand, artist Deborah O’Connor will capture your likeness in paper. All ages are welcome, including pets! These original artworks make a beautiful and personal gift for the holiday season.

You must have an appointment—Please call 203-438-5821 to schedule one during office hours Tuesday through Thursday from 10 am to 5 pm. Arrive a few minutes early to make your selections (choose number of copies and optional frames/mats). The sitting time for each subject is just five minutes.

Extra copies can be cut along with the original silhouette and are offered at one half of the price of the original cut. Each silhouette is cut from black paper and can be mounted on card stock while you wait. For pet silhouettes, bring your pet or a picture of the pet’s right profile.

    • Original Silhouette $30 members; $35 nonmembers. Not a member yet? Join here!
    • Extra Copies $15 each

Cream colored rectangular mats have oval openings with a black inner core. These fit into standard size frames.

    • 8” x 10” $10 each  For one subject or two subjects grouped
    • 11” x 14” $20 — For three or four subjects grouped

Black wooden oval frames with real gold leaf which do not require a mat.

    • 5” x 7” for an individual silhouette $40 each
    • 8” x 10”  for two or three subjects grouped $55 each

Subjects should dress in attire that you would like to have captured in the silhouette. Details will show, so include bows, ribbons, neckties, collars, hats, suit jackets, etc. If the subject wears eyeglasses, these are usually cut into the silhouette as they depict a more characteristic representation of the subject.

Our signature silhouette event was a great success!

Thank you to artist Deborah O’Connor for working her magic again this year. Here are some images of the sitters with their silhouettes.
