Dr. Darla Shaw portrays Mildred Gilman Wohlforth, a well-known crime journalist who wrote many magazine articles and was the author of eight novels, one of which was turned into a movie. She lived in Ridgefield for over 60 years and was the first chairman of the Historic District Commission.
