HOLIDAYS: New ornament honors Ridgefield tricentennial
Ridgefield Press
The Ridgefield Woman’s Club’s pewter ornament for Christmas 2007 looks forward to 2008’s yearlong celebration of Ridgefield’s tri-centennial.
The round pewter piece, crafted by Woodbury Pewter, features a faintly sketched town hall shaded by a maple with the words “300th anniversary” superimposed on the scene.
The ornament will be available for purchase in local stores in the next few weeks and will be featured at the Woman’s Club’s Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 17. The juried craft fair featuring 100 crafters will be held at the East Ridge Middle School from 10 to 4.
